Meet Stevie + We are Her | Ep. 78
I first met Stevie at the We Are HER Network annual retreat in Montana, where I was leading yoga workshops and sharing the RAIN method (surprised, I really am all about somatic work and mindful awareness). We instantly bonded over our love of transformations—the kind that shift your heart, mind and soul.
We Are HER Network—short for Healed, Empowered, Restored—is the kind of community that wraps you in warmth, started as a space to share survivor stories, and invites survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault into healing circles through retreats, education, and community lead healing.
In this conversation, Stevie open up about her spring awakening—a healing journey that’s been more like a winding garden path than a straight, scenic highway. Detours, pit stops, setbacks—you name it, it’s been part of the journey. But those twists? They’ve taught her that healing isn’t failure—it’s becoming. We talk about peeling off the masks, being our true selves, and leaning into a community that sees—and celebrates—every curve in our journey. Healing may not be linear, but it can be authentic, empowering, and, dare I say, a bit delightfully quirky along the way.
